Karya saya tersiar dalam Dewan Sastera bulan Ogos. 'Monolog Diari Tujuh Hari' hadir selepas terlantar hampir empat hari di hospital dengan hampir enam botol air kerana denggi pada awal tahun ini. Lantas mengigatkan saya kepada seorang insan yang lumpuh kerana seekor nyamuk. Ciptaan Allah itu hebat. Jika tidak, seekor haiwan kecil boleh menumbangkan manusia yang bernyawa. Insaf!
Walau bagaimanapun, karya ini mengambil masa untuk disiapkan dan juga ketika mahu dihantar. Saya terlalu bertangguh dan memeram idea terlalu lama. Hasilnya juga... hmmm..
Sudahlah begitu, hendak mendapatkan majalah ini juga satu masalah. Sudah habis pusing satu Bangi juga Taman Melawati tetapi mengecewakan. Saya naik komuter dari UKM Bangi dan turun di KL Sentral. Mujur ada senaskhah yang sudah koyak sana sini. Mungkin itu naskah terakhir. Malangnya saya juga membayar harga yang cukup mahal untuk itu. Pengimbas Touch n Go menelan baki kad hampir RM 20.00. Angin satu badan!
