Hari ini saya memandu bersama seorang staff ke JKWPKL untuk menghantar tender. Jalan ke Dataran Merdeka rupanya tutup untuk raptai hari kemerdekaan. Dua jam juga tersengguk-sengguk di dalam kereta. Mujur sempat tiba ke destinasi sebelum pukul 12. Terasa kepala sakit yang teramat. Hingga petang, ia berdenyut-denyut mencucuk-cucuk. Terasa otak seperti menggelegak. Sejujurnya, sejak menggunakan cermin mata, sakit kepala ini sudah hilang. Tetapi ia datang kembali hari ini. Tidak larat rasanya. Jam 5 saya terus cabut dari pejabat dan tidur seketika. Oh! Dimana cerpen yang saya tulis tentang surat itu?
